My work revolves around the essence of abstraction, where light and texture come together in a harmonious dance of colors. The interplay of blues and aqua is a recurring theme, and I employ palette knife techniques to bring dynamic textures into my pieces. Some of my works venture into landscapes, each carrying an aura of tranquility and otherworldliness.
When it comes to selecting subject matter, there is no concrete plan. Instead, my approach is deeply intuitive, guided by feelings and emotions. I allow the subject to develop organically, letting my instincts and the moment steer the course of creation.
I am often drawn to scenes that evoke a sense of distant, ethereal environments. These far-off places captivate my imagination and inspire my compositions. Natural elements such as water, mountains, clouds, and the ever-changing weather are constant sources of inspiration, grounding my abstract visions in the beauty of the natural world.
In terms of technique, I begin by laying down a base layer and then build upon it with various colors. This process is fluid and ever-evolving as I experiment with new methods. Layering and mop brushing are techniques I am particularly fascinated by, and I continue to explore and refine these methods.
